Press release: Eduard Dadov appointed head of Gazprom Sotsinvest

Eduard Dadov has been appointed Director General of Gazprom Sotsinvest, effective March 18.

Eduard Dadov was born in 1963. He graduated from Kabardino-Balkarian State University, majoring in Industrial and Civil Engineering. He received a second degree, in Public and Municipal Administration, from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

In 1990–2006, he held managerial positions at commercial organizations, including construction companies.

2006–2007: Deputy Director of the Department of Construction at the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation.

2007–2009: Deputy Director General of the Rosstroy Federal Licensing Center.

2009–2013: Executive Director of the Builders of Russia Union, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Small and Medium Construction Businesses.

Present: Vice President of the Builders of Russia Union.

Eduard Dadov received a commendation from the President of the Russian Federation.

Background

Gazprom Sotsinvest, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, is focused on constructing, renovating and equipping non-industrial facilities for the needs of the Gazprom Group. It provides project support in the field of construction and investment from preparing initial analysis and developing detailed business plans to delivering complete projects, while also performing supervisory functions at every stage of construction.

Specifically, during the preparations for the 22nd Winter Olympics in Sochi, the company was responsible for the construction of Gazprom’s mountain tourist center, the integrated biathlon and ski complex, and the mountain Olympic village for 1,100 people.
