Press release: Lukoil supports construction of new public facilities in Komi

​President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Head of the Komi Republic, Sergey Gaplikov, signed a Protocol to the Agreement on Cooperation between the company and the region, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi today.

The document, extending the partnership between the company and the republic, defines a set of measures to develop the region's mineral resource potential, the fuel-and-energy complex and the public infrastructure.

Apart from constructing and revamping field operational and infrastructure facilities, LUKOIL will provide financial support to help build more housing blocks, health and sports centers, construct, reconstruct and re-equip more kindergartens, community centers and healthcare facilities, and also bring to life new charitable projects and initiatives.
