Press release: Lukoil and YNAO pledge cooperation in 2019
President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Dmitry Artyukhov, signed a Supplemental Cooperation Agreement for 2019, in Salekhard today.
The company will support a range of regional administrative initiatives. Among other things, LUKOIL will fund the construction of a home for the parish clergy at the Church of Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God in the village of Tazovsky. The YAMINE Charity Foundation will receive financial support for the organization of diagnostics, rehabilitation and medical treatment of seriously ill and disabled children.
LUKOIL will also provide funding to public and veteran organizations of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, promote volleyball, judo, hang gliding and also light and ultra-light aviation in order to facilitate the use of air transport in the economic sector and help conduct regional academic and practical research.
