Press release: Poliom reported on the protection of atmospheric air

In accordance with the current legislation, the Joint venture of GC Titan, Gazprom-Neft and Sibur provided data about atmospheric air protection in 2018 to the Department of Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage in Siberian Federal District.

Compared to the figures of 2017, the total impact on the atmospheric air decreased by 8%. It became possible by the introduction of recovery plant, which allows to reuse off-gases, as well as by the implementation of measures on the production process stabilization.

«The enterprise continues work on further reduction of the impact on the atmosphere: due to the start of flare abgases compression plant in 2019, the plant will reduce the total amount of recycled gas by 20-30% of the already achieved scope»,- said Igor Tikhonov, General Director of Poliom.

Poliom strictly complies with the requirements of environmental legislation. An independent accredited laboratory, which monitors environmental components at the production site, has confirmed that Poliom activities comply with the established standards in the field of environmental protection at the border of the sanitary protection zone and in the area of influence of the enterprise.
