Press release: Alexey Miller and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discuss cooperation in gas sector
A Gazprom delegation headed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee, paid a working visit to Turkmenistan today.
As part of the visit, a working meeting between Alexey Miller and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, took place in Ashgabat.
The parties discussed various aspects of cooperation in the gas sector.
Background
The fundamental instrument governing Russian-Turkmen cooperation in the gas sector is the intergovernmental Agreement for Cooperation signed in 2003.
