Press release: Alexander Lebedev Appointed Acron Group’s Vice President for Domestic Business

Acron Group, a leading mineral fertiliser producer in Russia and globally, announces the appointment of Alexander Lebedev as the Group’s Vice President for Domestic Business. In this position, Mr Lebedev will focus on strategies for promoting Acron’s products in Russia. 

Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors Alexander Popov noted: “The Russian market remains a priority for Acron Group. During the first nine months of 2018, we sold over 630,000 tonnes of mineral fertilisers here at home, up 15% year-on-year. Mr Lebedev’s professional experience will help the Group meet the needs of Russian growers and improve its opportunities and prospects on the domestic market”. 

Alexander Lebedev graduated from Vladimir State University with a degree in marketing. He has worked at Acron since 2011, serving as a sales department specialist, head of the organic and non-organic chemical product sales team, and deputy head of the sales department. From January 2017, he served as head of the sales department, overseeing mineral fertiliser sales in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States, as well as sales of agricultural goods produced by Plodorodie agricultural holding (part of Acron Group). 

Mr Lebedev received a golden medal for his contribution to the development of Russia’s agro-industrial complex.
