The “Highest” grade isobutene fraction obtained by gas fractionation of NGL, representing isobutene (not less than 98.0%) with an admixture of accompanying hydrocarbons (corresponds to TU 0272-025-00151638-99) was also among the contest winners.

This product is the raw material of petrochemical industries, and it is used for household purposes and motor vehicles.

The fraction of normal butane is used as raw material for organic synthesis, for pyrolysis, butylenes production, 1,3-butadiene, as a refrigerant and propellant, as well as a component of motor fuel.

The isobutane fraction is the raw material for the dehydrogenation processes in the production of synthetic rubber, sulfuric acid alkylation of isobutane with olefins as a propellant, a component of motor fuel.
