Press release: KAMA TYRES Will Take Part in the Busworld International Exhibition

The tyre manufacturing complex KAMA TYRES of TATNEFT Company will take part in the International Busworld Russia Bus Salon powered by Autotrans, which will be held from October 23 to 25 at the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow.

The KAMA TYRES will present products for light commercial vehicles - models of the Viatti trademark at the specialized exhibition of bus equipment, as well as SSC tyres KAMA, designed for the assembly of buses.

Within the framework of the TATNEFT Company’s tyre manufacturing complex exhibition display visitors of the event will be able to familiarize themselves with Viatti tyres, specially designed to ensure stable vehicle steerability and reliable movement of light commercial vehicles when operating within the city or intercity routes in any, even the most severe winter, environment. studded Viatti Vettore Inverno provide good grip both on the ice and when driving through the snow due to the closely located tread blocks across the entire width of the tread, as well as the increased elasticity of the blocks and the 14-row stud layout. The good cross-country ability of the even a heavily loaded car on a snowy road is ensured through application of the SnowDrive technology, which has provided for calculating and designing special grooves in the shoulder blocks.

In addition, there will be SSC tyres with a rim seat diameter of 17.5 to 22.5 inches presented at the exhibition display stand of the Company, designed to be used for the assembly of various buses from small capacity type to the tourist class ones. They can be used or installed on the drive axle - KAMA NR-201, on the steering axle - KAMA NF-201, and the rear axle - KAMA NR-202. The exhibits also include KAMA NU-301 universal tyres designed for installation on all axles of transport vehicles. The model is characterized by a more massive shoulder area, which allows increasing the haulage capacity of the bus, which is important in winter conditions. The tyre also has a thicker sidewall to protect against damage when contacting with street curbs.

A distinctive feature of the KAMA SSC tyres is the possibility of increasing the mileage up to 700,000 km with two retreading cycles, as well as high durability and fuel economy.

Busworld is the world's largest B2B exhibition of the bus industry. There will be 84 companies presented at the exhibition site: manufacturers of intercity and city buses, electric buses, buses of small and extra-small capacity class, unmanned passenger transport, special purpose buses, components and spare parts, tyres, lubricants, tools and repair equipment, navigation and security systems.
