Press release: New design surveying works have started at the site of GC «Titan»

The works have started as a part of hydrogen generation unit design, which will compose a part of the modernized facility for cumene production with the area of isopropanol production.

Hydrogen is used in the process of isopropyl alcohol production. It will be produced at the unit plant with the capacity of 4,500 m³/hour. One of the leading companies in the field of technologies for hydrogen concentration and purification will be the supplier of the equipment.

Geodetic engineers of the specialized organization «UralSibIzyskaniya» Ltd. (Ufa) have already started work at the site of "Omsky kauchuk" plant, where it is planned to locate hydrogen generation unit, as well as two compressors and hopper-type operator's room. 

Within a month, a field team of 4 specialists, equipped with multi-purpose modern equipment and vehicles, will carry out surveying, engineering geological, geodetic, hydrometeorological and ecological surveys. To develop survey reports and conclusions, this team will take 50 soil samples and 10 water samples. The works are carried out by the order of the general designer – «Bashgiproneftekhim» Ltd. 

It should be noted that in the summer of 2018, a similar scope of works was carried out by engineers of "UralSibIzyskaniya" Ltd. at the site for cumene production. "Bashgiproneftekhim" Ltd. continues to develop the design documentation for the subsequent expertise passing in the federal autonomous institution «Glavgosexpertiza of Russia»
