Press release: NLMP shipped lubricant materials to the Arctic

GC «Titan» Novocherkassk plant shipped the batch of lubricant materials to Taymyr Fuel Company, which is the largest oil operator of the Krasnoyarsk Krai (part of PJSC MMC «Norilsk Nickel»).

«NLMP» Ltd. has won the tender for the product supply and become the partner of Taymyr Fuel Company.

Due to the climatic features of the Far North regions, the full quantity of the products was shipped by one batch. The products were placed in five 40ft. containers. Terms of delivery are determined by navigation period and transshipment during which the Taymyr Fuel Company carries out the necessary purchases for a full next calendar year", - commented Alexey Titov, Sales Manager of «NLMP» Ltd.

Before reaching the destination in Norilsk, the products of the southernmost enterprise of GC «Titan», produced in Novocherkassk, has already passed several thousand kilometers to the trans-shipment base in Arkhangelsk. Then it will cover a considerable distance by the sea to the Arctic port of Dudinka on the Yenisei River. The final stage will be the transshipment of the containers from a ferry to a railway platforms and sending them to Norilsk.

The total scope of the lubricants shipped to the customer is 100 tons. All products are designed for operation in areas of the Arctic Circle, where the air temperature can drop below -50⁰C in winter.

Most of the shipped products are viscous lubricants, which are intended for use in friction units of mining equipment, metallurgical equipment, railway transport, as well as wheeled and track vehicles and mechanisms for various purposes.

It should be noted that all types of the manufactured products at "NLMP" are characterized by high load-bearing capacity, thermal stability and good pumping ability, resistance to water, to steam, to alkalis and acids. The products also protect against corrosion, have high scuffing load capacity and low friction coefficient.
