Press release: Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations for Seven Months of 2018

Crude Oil Production

Enterprises of TATNEFT Croup of Companies produced 2,511 thousand tonnes of crude oil in July 2018, while the production volume for seven Months amounted to 16,795 thousand tonnes, with the production of PJSC TATNEFT accounting for the production of 2,843 thousand tonnes with the seven months production volume amounting to 16,597 thousand tonnes.

The production in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 28 thousand tonnes in July, while the seven months production volume amounted to 198 thousand tonnes.

The production volume of high-viscosity oil amounted to 165,909 tonnes, while the production volume from the beginning of the year amounted to 1,099,117 tonnes (+232,183 tonnes versus the same period of 2017).

New Drilling

339 new wells were built and delivered to customers in July with the production well drilling amounting to 197 wells, exploratory drilling accounting for 5 wells and drilling to the bitumen deposits amounting to 137 wells.

Active Well Stock Drilling

The number of delivered sidetracks and horizontal wellbores amounted to 65 wells.

Drilling of Wells outside the Republic of Tatarstan

The completion and testing procedure is underway at well # 1 of the Dolansko-Erdnievsky area in the Republic of Kalmykia. There were 2 production and 1 exploration well delivered to customers in the Samara region.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing operations were performed at 5,801 wells, while 1,527 wells were subjected to workovers. There were 32 repair operations performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 529 wells.

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,456 wells, including chemical methods applied in 639 wells.

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 779.9  thousand tonnes of raw materials in July with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 5,420.5 thousand tonnes with 734,2 thousand tonnes of raw petroleum materials processed in July and 4,982.6 of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year.

The Complex yielded 729,1 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in July 2018 with the production volume amounting to 5,109.8 thousand tonnes yielded since the beginning of the year.
