Press release: URALCHEM’s total output in 1H 2018 increased by 3%, domestic sales – by 21%

According to the results of 1H 2018, the output of commercial products by URALCHEM’s plants totalled 3.2 million tonnes, which is a 3% increase year-on-year. Also, the company increased sales in the domestic market by 21%, totalling 1386 thousand tons.

The output of ammonium nitrate and its derivatives grew by 75,000 tonnes (+5% year-on-year), because it was possible to improve the average daily performance of weak acid units and to shorten the repair period at KCCW and Azot Branches. The production of ammonia and urea remained virtually unchanged in y-o-y terms. In 1H, the Company produced more phosphate fertilizers and less complex ones, as VMF redirected its capacities to better meet customer needs.
