Press release: Representatives of the Chinese Petroleum Corporation visited TATNEFT

Representatives of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation "Energy Technologies and Service Ltd visited TATNEFT.

The delegation included Representative Office Head of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation "Energy Technologies and Service LTD" and Alexander Gordeyev, Business Development Manager.

Within the framework of the program, a meeting was held with top managers of TATNEFT, where the Chinese company submitted a presentation of the CNOOC Association for Energy Technologies and Services LTD.

In turn, professionals of TATNEFT familiarized the guests with the main business areas of the Company's activities and the Company’s development strategy. The unified strategy based business model of the Joint-Stock Company integrates the potential of the core diversified assets in the area of crude oil exploration and production, oil and gas refining, petrochemicals and the sale of oil and petroleum products, thereby providing for the conditions for long-term sustainable development. 

TATNEFT presented The Company’s significant experience in the development of oil crude fields and the provision of service services both in the regions of Russia and outside.

The representatives of the "Energy Technologies and Service Ltd" also got familiarized with the activities of the Company’s petrochemical and oil refining sector: the tyre manufacturing business of TATNEFT and the TANECO Complex. The annual production of all tyre types for road transport reached 13 million pieces accounting for almost a quarter of all tyres produced in Russia.

TATNEFT Company created modern production at the TANECO refinery with a record conversion depth of more than 99% in terms of the raw materials processing industry. The production capacity of the refinery complex will be increased to 14 million tonnes per year in the near future, while expanding the range of high-quality products, increasing the production of the TANECO diesel fuel, jet fuel, and the production of Euro 5 premium gasoline grades.

The availability of our own research and design entities allows TATNEFT to provide a full range of services and technical support for the construction and modernization of crude oil production and refining facilities, as well as and petrochemicals production facilities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of interest to the Chinese side, as well as a possibility of a return visit of TATNEFT’s representatives to the Chinese National Offshore Oil Corporation "Energy Technologies and Service Ltd".
