Acron Group intensifies transshipment of fertilizer in Russian ports
Acron Group has begun transshipping fertilizers via the Murmansk Port. In May 2018 it transshipped 40 thousand tonnes of compound fertilizers using the Murmansk Bulk Terminal owned by EuroChem. This shipment was performed in accordance with a new strategy adopted by Acron Group, aimed at increasing transshipment of products via Russian Federation ports.
Acron used to ship its mineral fertilizer products via ports located in Estonia and Saint Petersburg. PJSC Acron’s Director on Transportation Igor Bogdan said: “increasing the volume of transshipment via alternative ports in Russia expands Acron Group’s logistical capacity, mitigates commercial risks and serves the interests of the Russian economy.”
