Press release: Lukoil continues social and economic cooperation with Nenets autonomous district

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Acting Governor of the Nenets Autonomous District Alexander Tsybulsky discussed prospects of cooperation on social and economic development of the region, in Naryan-Mar today.

As the cooperation agreement concluded between the district and the company establishes, this year the company will contribute to the construction and repair of social facilities, and to the upgrade of the facilities of state-financed institutions. The document also provides for the employment of the local population and for support of the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North.

​Vagit Alekperov and Alexander Tsybulsky visited an indoor tennis court built by the company in Naryan-Mar in 2017 and attended the opening ceremony of a lawn tennis competition among the district residents.
