Press release: URALCHEM took part in the SIAM exhibition

URALCHEM took part in the 13th international agricultural exhibition SIAM-2018 (Salon International de l'Agriculture au Maroc), which was held from 25 to 29 April this year in Meknes, Morocco. The exhibition is traditionally held under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of Morocco and active assistance of governmental organisations and leading agricultural producers of the country. About 1,400 companies from 70 countries participated in the exhibition this year.

'URALCHEM has been taking part in SIAM for the third year, because this is an excellent opportunity to expand the Company's presence in the African fertilizer market, as well as to find new partners in this prospective and attractive region. Participation in the exhibition made it possible to better understand the current needs of agricultural producers for certain types of fertilizers, as well as the current market trends', Tatyana Grebennikova, Head of Marketing and Product Promotion of URALCHEM, commented.

The Company presented a range of products at the exhibition: from traditional and popular granular nitrogen-phosphate-potash fertilizers to innovative water-soluble products of the SOLAR range.

Water-soluble fertilizers of the premium SOLAR range prompted special interest among farmers, because Morocco, while remaining predominantly an agrarian country, just like other countries of North Africa, faces insufficient water supply for irrigation purposes and therefore seeks to maximise crop production per unit of water consumed.

SIAM is the biggest event for the African agro-industrial sector, where all the latest achievements and technologies are presented. The exhibition features thematic conferences, roundtables and expert meetings.
