Press release: Nizhnekamskneftekhim expands the range of oxyethylated products

The assortment of Nizhnekamskneftekhim products will soon be replenished with high molecular weight solid polyethylene glycols and methoxypolyethylene glycols. An investment project on expansion of the range of its oxyethylated products is under implementation at Oligomers & Glycols Plant.

Solid PEGs are used as a viscosity regulator stabilizer, antistatic agent and softener in production of various detergents and cleaning agents. MPEGs serve as a raw material to be used for the same purposes and in production of plasticizers for concrete mixtures.

These products will be produced using our own raw materials - monoethylene glycols and ethylene oxide. Liquid MPEGs are intended to be shipped to the consumers in 200-liter barrels, and solid PEGs in 25-kilogram bags and in 1000-kilogram big bags. Equipment for production of new types of oxyethylated products has already been purchased, and preparations for its installation are underway.
