“Russian Mining Chemical Company” successfully completed a full-scale production testing of ground brucite

“Russian Mining Chemical Company” LLC (RMCC) successfully completed a full-scale production testing of a new product – ground brucite (Mg(OH)2). RMCC intends to supply of ground brucite to ammonium nitrate producers.

In January of 2007, RMCC announced about starting-up of ground brucite production. Modern production facilities with output 30 000 tones per year (by fraction of 300 microns) allows to produce final product with fineness from 15 microns up to 500 microns. The final product specified by high whiteness, stable chemical and granulometric composition

RMCC produces ground brucite under trade mark “AgroMag”. Application of “AgroMag” in the production process allows producing ammonium nitrate of white color and high strength. Moreover, application of “Agromag” allows significantly reduce production costs. Absence of impurities in a product - less than 0,01 % SO4 - allows to avoid stops of heat-exchange equipment for chemical cleaning and improves the efficiency of its work.

RMCC actively promoting the products under trade marks “Ecopiren” and “AquaMag” for flame-retardant and water-treatment markets.
