Press release (EuroChem): Trade restrictions on EuroChem in Ukraine
Zug, Switzerland, 21 September 2017 – EuroChem Group AG (“EuroChem” or the “Group”), a leading global fertilizer company, notes with concern reports of temporary, to apply for three months, restrictions in the Ukraine on certain companies of the EuroChem Group in Russia and Ukraine to engage in foreign economic activities, effective from October 29, 2017.
EuroChem and its companies operate in more than 100 countries around the world and adhere strictly to all relevant national legislation. The Group therefore considers these restrictions to be indefensible and will shortly apply to the appropriate Ukrainian authorities for a detailed explanation of the decision. EuroChem will also provide any required information to show that it is acting entirely in accordance with local law and to have these restrictions lifted.
