Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plans the launch of its new cat cracker complex in the spring of 2019
The basic design for the hydrocracker process was developed by Shell. The complex will be able to produce 1.095 million tonnes of gas oil per year. The cat cracker complex will include fluidized-bed cat cracker units, a selective gasoline hydrotreatment unit, a flare unit, a liquefied hydrocarbon gas tank farm, and a circulating water facility.
The current process scheme of the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat refinery includes two cat cracker units. These will be shut down and dismantled after the commissioning of the new complex.
