Press release (Tatneft): Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations for Eight Months of 2018

The production volume of the subsidiaries in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 28 thousand 695 tonnes of crude oil in August, while the eight Months production volume amounted to 266 thousand 515 tonnes (-10.3 thousand tonnes or 95.6 per cent versus the level of 2017).
The production volume of high-viscosity oil amounted to 165,909 tonnes, while the production volume from the beginning of the year amounted to 1,099,117 tonnes (+232,183 tonnes versus the same period of 2017).

New Drilling

371 new wells were built and delivered to customers in August 2018 (484 wells in 2017) with the production well drilling amounting to 221 wells, exploratory drilling accounting for 5 wells and drilling to the bitumen deposits amounting to 145 wells.

Active Well Stock Drilling

The number of delivered sidetracks and horizontal wellbores amounted to 77 wells (64 wells in 2017.

Drilling of Wells outside the Republic of Tatarstan

The completion and testing procedure is underway at well # 1 of the Dolansko-Erdnievsky area in the Republic of Kalmykia. There were 2 production and 1 exploration well delivered to customers in the Samara region.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing operations were performed at 6,632 wells (831 wells in August), while 1,783 wells were subjected to workovers (253 wells in August). There were 38 repair operations performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan.
Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 611 wells. 
Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,681 wells (216 wells in August), including chemical methods applied in 728 wells (89 wells in August).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 773,3  thousand tonnes of raw materials in August with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 6,193.8 thousand tonnes with 735.9 thousand tonnes of raw petroleum materials processed in August and 5,718.6 of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year.
The Complex yielded 725.6 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in August 2018 with the production volume amounting to 5,835.4 thousand tonnes yielded since the beginning of the year.
