Press release: Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations for Nine Months of 2018

Enterprises of TATNEFT Croup of Companies produced 2 million 465 thousand tonnes of crude oil in September 2018 with the production volume for nine months amounting to 21,791 thousand tonnes, which was 126 thousand tonnes more than in 2017. The production volume of PJSC TATNEFT in September amounted to 2 million 438 thousand tonnes of crude oil, while the production volume for nine months for nine months amounted to 21 million 438 thousand tonnes (+138 thousand tonnes versus 1017 the level of 2017).

The production volume of the subsidiaries in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 27 thousand tonnes of crude oil in September, while the nine Months production volume amounted to 253 thousand tonnes (-12 thousand tonnes versus the level of 2017).

The production volume of high-viscosity oil amounted to 165,210 tonnes, while the production volume from the beginning of the year amounted to 1,432,719 tonnes (+270,183 tonnes versus the same period of 2017).

New Drilling

428 new wells were built and delivered to customers in September 2018 with the production well drilling amounting to 254 wells and of this number 118 wells drilled as in-fill ones, exploratory drilling accounting for 6 wells and drilling to the bitumen deposits amounting to 168 wells.

Active Well Stock Drilling

The number of delivered sidetracks during nine months of the current year, while the number of actually commissioned production wells amounted to 254 pieces.

Drilling of Wells outside the Republic of Tatarstan

The completion and testing procedure is underway at well # 1 of the Dolansko-Erdnievsky area in the Republic of Kalmykia. Drilling of well number 1 Barriernaya was temporarily suspended.
7 production and 3 exploration wells were commissioned In the Samara region. Completion testing operations are underway at wells # 405, 18, 19 are.

High Viscosity Oil Wells Drilling

7 drilling crews were involved in the drilling of HVO wells. There were 168 wells drilled from the beginning of the year, while the plan provided for drilling 164 wells. In aggregate there were 819 wells drilled.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing operations were performed at 7,494 wells (8240 wells during nine months in 2017). There were 49 repair operations performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan (51 repair operations during 9 months of 2017.
Workover operations were performed at 1,999 wells or 100 percent to the plan (1980 wells in 2018).

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out 675 wells with the plan fulfilled by 100 percent 2,217 wells during 9 months of 2017).
Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,865 wells (102 percent to the plan (641 wells during 9 months in 2017), including chemical methods applied in 809 wells, 100 percent to toe plan (1024 wells for 9 months of 2017).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 750.99 thousand tonnes of raw materials in September with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 6,9443.8 thousand tonnes with 710.8 thousand tonnes of raw petroleum materials processed in September and 6,429.4 of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year.
The Complex yielded 704.02 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in September 2018 with the production volume amounting to 6539.4 thousand tonnes yielded since the beginning of the year.
