Press release: KAMA TYRES Presented Truck Tyres at the "ARMY 2018" Forum

KAMA TYRES, which is a tyre-manufacturing complex of PJSC TATNEFT, took part in the international military-technical forum "ARMY-2018", which was held at the ”Patriot” Exhibition and Convention center near Moscow, at the Kubinka airfield and the Alabino training grounds.

The military and technical Forum "ARMY-2018" is one of the largest annually held world expositions of armaments and military equipment, which offered favorable environment for constructive communication and exchange of experience, effective interaction of Russian and foreign professionals in the military and technical area. The grand opening ceremony was held with the participation of Yuri Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Sergey Shoigu, Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The forum events included the expositional and demonstration, as well as the scientific and business programs open for mass-scale visits, which enabled those wishing to personally get acquainted with the defense-industrial complex of Russia and foreign countries, attend conferences and meet potential partners.

Presented at the exhibition site of the TATNEFT Company’s the KAMA TYRES tyre manufacturing business there were well-proven cargo integrated and SSC tyres, as well as technological innovations of the current year and exhibition samples of the latest engineering developments demonstrated.

KAMA TYRES became the first domestic manufacturer of SSC tyres with adjustable pressure. There were innovative import-substituting products presented at the Company’s display stand, which, inter alia, included tyres for armored personnel carriers with different tread patterns, such as KAMA NU 401 for driving in case of roadless terrain, KAMA NU 402 for driving on sand, as well as the KAMA PRO NU 404 off-road tyre, which was an innovative development of the current year.

Models of integrated truck tyres KAMA-431 and KAMA-1260-2 contribute to improving the controllability of the vehicle in various road and weather conditions and they feature high off road and self-cleaning characteristics.

KAMA TYRES presented “camouflaged” KAMA NU 401 and KAMA NU 402 tyres as exhibition samples for the first time.
