Press release: Tire factories of TATNEFT have been successfully recertified according to its system of environmental management

PJSC Nizhnekamskshina and Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory of the TATNEFT Company tire complex have successfully passed recertification audits of environmental management systems for compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015 (GOST R ISO 14001-2016).

In preparation for the audit, the services of PJSC Nizhnekamskshina and Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory, together with the specialists of OOO TATNEFT-Neftekhim MC, performed work on the adaptation of the functioning environmental management systems to the new basic requirements of ISO 14001: 2015 (GOST R ISO 14001-2016). The auditors got acquainted with the full cycle of production of tire products and the level of impact of elements of the companies’ production activity exerted on the state of the environment; they also assessed the level of the specially designed documentation, maintenance of necessary records, and general competence and awareness of the personnel of companies.
The audit, which has been successfully passed by the TATNEFT tire factories, confirmed compliance of their environmental management systems with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015 (GOST R ISO 14001-2016), which is by far the most popular instrument regulating the issues of environmental protection and nature management at the international level.
