Press release (Tatneft): Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations for Twelve Months of 2018

The production volume of PJSC TATNEFT amounted to 2 million 644 thousand tonnes of crude oil in December, while the production volume for twelve months amounted to 29 million 192 thousand tonnes (+605 thousand tonnes to the level of 2017).

The production volume of the subsidiaries in the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 29 thousand tonnes of crude oil in December, while the twelve months  production volume amounted to 342 thousand tonnes (-11 thousand tonnes of crude versus the level of 2017). 

The production volume of high-viscosity oil amounted to 176 thousand tonnes, while the production volume from the beginning of the year amounted to 1,949 thousand tonnes (+309 thousand tonnes versus the same period of 2017).

New Drilling

There were 628 new wells built and delivered to customers (762 wells in 2017) with the production well drilling amounting to 375 wells, exploratory drilling accounting for 14 wells and drilling to the bitumen deposits amounting to 239 wells.

Active Well Stock Drilling

The number of delivered sidetracks and horizontal wellbores amounted to 114 wells (70 wells in 2017.

Drilling of Wells outside the Republic of Tatarstan

The annual volume of delivering production and exploratory wells to the Tatneft-Samara’s customers was fulfilled: there were 10 production and 4 exploration wells delivered. 

Repair of Wells

   The crews of remedial well servicing, workover and EOR performed remedial well servicing operations at 10,5wells (1,003 wells in December), while 2,265 wells were subjected to workover operations (181 wells in December). 

There were 63 well repair operations performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 876 wells (70 wells in December). 

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 2,322 wells (130 wells in December), including chemical methods applied in 963 wells (33 wells in December).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 807.7  thousand tonnes of raw materials in December with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 9,315.35 thousand tonnes with 737.973 thousand tonnes of raw petroleum materials processed in December and 8,609.45 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year. 

The Complex yielded 750.045 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in December 2018 with the production volume amounting to 9,223.45 thousand tonnes yielded since the beginning of the year.
