Press release: GC Titan Pskov plant became a resident of SEZ Moglino

In St. Petersburg, at the XII International Innovation Forum «Russian Industrialist», the Pskov Titan-Polymer plant (GC Titan enterprise) received an official document confirming the residential status of the industrial-type Special Economic ZoneMoglino.

Olga Torbich, General Director of industrial-type SEZ Moglino, handled the appropriate certificate to German Petrushko, Plant Manager. «Our production facility is being constructed in the Pskov region and it will put a significant contribution to the development of the regional economy and the development of a small and medium business,» noted German Petrushko at the ceremony. "Reliable team of professionals and the experience of GC Titan in construction and start-up of production facilities will assist us to implement the project within the stated time frame along with getting of high financial and economic results».

Let us recall, that the Pskov plant Titan-Polymer was registered in February 2018 in order to construct polyethylene terephthalate production and polymer processing. During the first stage of the project realization, it is planned to build two biaxial-oriented polyethylene terephthalate film (BOPET) production lines with a capacity of 70kt/y.

In the future, it is planned to organize within the project a large industrial complex for the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with a capacity of up to 170kt/y. About 500 new job places will be created in the Pskov region thanks to the Pskov plant Titan-Polymer, with the prospect of increasing them to 2000 due to the related industries. The company has started and is actively recruiting staff for key positions.

Earlier, at the meeting of the Expert Council of the industrial-type SEZMoglino, chaired by the head of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, held in August 2018, the company was approved as the resident. The symbolic key to the plant was handled toMikhail Sutyaginskiy, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC GC Titan.
