Russia’s mineral fertilizer output up 1.9% in January-September 2018
Rosstat reports that in January to September 2018 Russia produced 17.233 million tonnes of fertilizer (by pure nutrient content), marking a y/y increase of 1.9%. Nitrogen fertilizer output increased by 5.4% to 7.881 million tonnes, phosphate fertilizers, by 2.5% to 2.988 million tonnes, while the output of potassium fertilizers fell by 2.2% to 6.354 thousand tonnes. Ammonia output grew by 16.6% and reached 13.3 in this nine-month period.
