Press release: TATNEFT Is among Leaders of the sustainable development rating

TATNEFT has joined the TOP leaders of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs index in the field of sustainable development: "Responsibility and Openness".

The indices of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) are included in the international database on ratings and indices in the area of sustainable development. The "Responsibility and Openness" index reflects the situation in the area of the corporate information disclosure on the Company’s sustainable development and corporate responsibility.

The situation is evaluated within the framework of the "Responsibility and Openness” on the information disclosure in the key activity areas through analyzing 70 indicators, which characterize responsible business practices, including economic environmental, social performance indicators and management aspects.

The RSPP has been compiling indices since 2014 on the basis of analyzing the public corporate reporting, including annual and non-financial reports. Subject to the analysis are the reports of the companies included in TOP-100 largest companies according to RAEX-600 and RBC-500 ratings. The results obtained in the rating compiling are used to identify successful practices and in the benchmarking, improve the quality of public reporting, as well as activities in the area of corporate responsibility and sustainable development.

The information openness is an important factor in the TATNEFT's sustainable business development, where the Company’s most important strategic goals, inter alia, include pursuing the objective of increasing the Company’s investment potential and competitiveness. Another success in the prestigious rating is a high evaluation of the Company's activities, which pays much attention to the issues of the business social responsibility.
