Bioprotein plant to be built in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone
The Supervisory Council of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has approved the project for construction of a bioprotein plant proposed by Protelux. According to the project, the bioprotein produced by this plant will be used as a basic component of feed additives. The cost of investment into the project is estimated at RUB 18 billion.
The plant will use natural gaz as its feedstock and will have an output capacity of 100 thousand tonnes/year.
