Press release: Lukoil named best supplier for automotive concerns in Russia

LUKOIL Lubricants Company has received the "Best Supplier 2016" award in the Russia Automotive Forum (RAF) for its contribution to the Russian motor lubricants industry. The awarding ceremony was held on March 15 in Moscow as part of RAF 2017 hosted by Adam Smith Conferences.

"In 2016, LUKOIL started supplying its products to Ford and Volkswagen Russian plants and continued its partnership with Renault-Nissan, GM, MAN, GAZ, KAMAZ and other companies. LUKOIL became the first Russia's lubricant company to receive the international car industry standard ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificate at two manufacturing facilities in Perm and Volgograd. In addition, the company received more approvals from automotive manufacturers compared to other Russian companies", the RAF organizers noted.

"We thank our clients and partners for appreciation of our work. During the last decade, we expanded our product portfolio 9-fold through developing of most advanced products with a special focus on actual requirements of the automotive manufacturers. As of today, LUKOIL supplies its first fill lubricants to about 20 Russian and foreign automotive brands. Starting as a local supplier, the company now participates in global projects. We continue to develop our products and services to further meet clients' expectation" said Maxim Donde, General Director of LUKOIL Lubricants Company.

LUKOIL produces annually about 1 million tons of oils at its nine plants in Russia, Belarus, Austria, Finland, Romania and Turkey as well as at 24 third-party plants worldwide.
