Press release: Dmitry Medvedev Granted the Russian Government Prize for Quality to TANECO

The twentieth ceremony of awarding the winners of the Russian Government Prize for quality was held in Moscow. Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, granted a Diploma to Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT and Leonid Alekhin, General Director of JSC TANECO.

TANECO was awarded the Russian Federation Government prize for outstanding results in the quality of products, services and implementation of highly efficient management methods.

The activities of TANECO were recognized for establishment of modern facilities for outputting oil products demanded in the market. Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev expressed the hope that the number of companies that demonstrated such high results in our country would continue growing, as the public and governmental estimates such companies received would be very important from the incentive point of view for other companies.

The RF Government award for quality ensures that the winners get the leader's image and reputation as a reliable producer of high quality and competitive products or services. The recognition at such a high level contributes to attracting new partners and customers, leads to increased profits and thus opens up new business opportunities.

JSC TANECO as the winner of the competition has the right to use the award symbols in their advertising materials, thereby enhancing the company's image.

The Russian award for  quality was established by Decree No. 423  of the Russian Federation Government dated April 12, 1996 and it is awarded annually on a competitive basis to organizations for achievements of  significant results in the area of ​​product and service quality, as well as for the implementation of high-quality management methods.

The award is the largest national project in the field of quality management in Russia. Experience of the competition holding shows that its conditions are a demanded action program aimed at encouraging companies to the activities on improving the quality management and achievement of real increase of competitiveness of products and services on this basis.
