Press release: TATNEFT Will Develop Cooperation with Belarus

Nail Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT, accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, who headed the delegation paying a working visit to the Republic of Belarus on 17-18 October.

In the frame of the delegation’s visit to Minsk there were   meetings with Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic, and visits were held to a number of Belarusian industrial enterprises. The Tatarstan delegation got acquainted with the activities of the High Technologies Park and also met with the representatives of the Tatar public organizations of Belarus.

The mutual interest was highlighted during the meetings with regard to the integration processes in the refining and petrochemical industries and specifically in the tire manufacturing industry.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, today there are 17 filling stations of TATNEFT Company operating in Belarus. The plans provide for increasing the number of the filling stations  and construction of four new filling stations.

The Tatarstan and Belarusian parties discussed the issues of expanding the mutually beneficial cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

TATNEFT Company’s filling stations in Belarus are operated by IOOO "Tatbelnefteprodukt", subsidiary of PJSC TATNEFT, and the Company’s stations are located in all regions of the country except the Mogilev, Grodno and Minsk regions.

The TATNEFT’s filling stations offer the consumers high-quality gasoline  AI-95 and AI-92 and also diesel fuel. Cozy cafes and shops at these filling stations offer fresh pastries, including national Tatar pastries, such as echpochmaks, belyashi, chak-chak, etc., fragrant grain coffee, tea and a variety of essential goods.

Filling station No. 17, located on M-1 / E-30 motorway, which is the main traffic artery of the Republic, is the first filling station at the entrance from the EU countries to the Customs Union states.
