Uzkimyosanoat to launch a new compound fertilizer plant in January

Uzkimyosanoat will start producing compound (N:P:K) mineral fertilizers this January at its plant in Samarkand. All precomissioning procedures were completed in December. 

The capacity of the new facility is 240 thousand tonnes per year. However, in 2016 it will produce 100 thousand tonnes of fertilizer.

The overall cost of the project is $20 million, of which the company's own funding amounted to $5 million, and the rest was covered by foreign investment and loans.
