Press release: Main Awards of the International Specialized Exhibition Were Conferred to TATNEFT Again

The awarding took place within the framework of the Tatarstan’s Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Forum in Kazan at the premises of the "Kazanskaya Yarmarka” Exhibition Complex. The exhibition opening ceremony was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anton Inyutsyn, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexey Aleshin, Head of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor), Alexei Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Albert Karimov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT, Gennady Shmal, President of the Association of Oil Industry Enterprises, as well as other representatives of the industry.

The contest resulted in conferring three top awards in different nominations to TATNEFT Company. The Grand Prix in the nomination "Products with new or improved characteristics" was received by the TANECO refinery of TATNEFT Company for a range of works on the production organization of modern highly effective base oils. TATNEFT received the Grand Prix in the nomination "Innovative environmentally friendly technologies" for the development and production organization of a flare unit with a variable equivalent nozzle diameter. In addition, the Company was awarded the Grand Prix in the nomination "Best technical solution for geological, cartographic and geodetic activities" for the implementation of the project "Creation of a specialized geodetic increased accuracy network of PJSC TATNEFT”.

In the nomination "Enhancement of oil recovery", the Company was awarded the first- degree diploma for the technology of heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs foam acid treatment.

 The R&D Institute TatNIPIneft of TATNEFT Company received the 1st degree Diploma in the nomination "Innovative Environmentally Friendly Technologies" for the technology of extracting valuable metals from the associated produced water; the Ist degree and IInd degree diplomas in the nomination "Energy-saving technologies and equipment" for the engineering development of the ultrasonic reversing flow meter "NOTA-B" and for the technology of processing bottom sediments in tanks, respectively. The third degree; diploma in the nomination "Oil recovery enhancement" for a comprehensive technology of thermal-gel high-viscosity oil reservoirs stimulation. 

The IInd degree diploma was awarded to the tyre manufacturing business of TATNEFT Company in the nomination "Products with new or improved characteristics" for the 14.00R20 NU 04 KAMA PRO pneumatic tyre with adjustable pressure.

Petrochemistry-2017 is a leading international specialized exhibition of the Volga Federal District and provides ample for opportunities for the promotion of modern industry branch technologies, expansion and strengthening of interregional and international business cooperation.
 
The exposition of TATNEFT demonstrates a presentation on the main business areas of the Company's activities, including exploration and production of crude oil, oil refining, mechanical engineering, oil/gas and petrochemical cluster, etc. TATNEFT is developing measures aimed at intensifying crude oil production, increasing the efficiency of extracting high-viscosity oil from compacted and shaled-out reservoirs; technologies that reduce energy consumption in the production of high-viscosity oil (HVO), etc. The attention orbit of TATNEFT includes the creation of digital models of development targets and other.

Within the framework of the exhibition, TATNEFT demonstrates the achievements in the area of oil refining, implemented in the project of the TANECO Complex construction. The Company represents products yielded at the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex, which, inter alia, include aviation fuel for jet engines, etc.

The exhibition display of TATNEFT also includes technological innovations of the tyre manufacturing business, such as KAMA TYRES products. Among them, there are KAMA tyres 365 185/60 R14 with M + S marking and winter tread pattern, designed for operation at an ambient temperature of -10°C to + 55°C. Professionals of the KAMA TYRES complex have been able to reach effective performance indicators that allow for safe and comfortable driving, high grip properties and resistance to aquaplaning, acoustic comfort during driving and reduced fuel consumption. The technological innovation complies with the current regulatory requirements and standards of the Russian Federation, as well as with the world indices of reliability and safety.

Visitors of the exhibition can also be acquainted with the solid steel cord tyres of the new generation - KAMA PRO NU 404. The NU 404 SSC is a pneumatic tyre, which design allows adjusting the internal pressure within a wide range depending on operating conditions. The given model of tyres differs from other tyres in terms of constant pressure, high elasticity and the damping ability of the covering roughness. The technological innovation is intended for operation on all-wheel drive trucks, mainly in off-road conditions and on soft soils, at the ambient temperature range of -45°C to + 55°C. The design of NU 404 tyres is based on new design solutions that will be applied to all KAMA PRO tyres and will allow improving the consumer properties of the new generation SSC tyres.

The exposition includes "camouflaged" SSS tyres for special automotive equipment: KAMA NU401, intended for use in mud and slush road conditions and KAMA NU402, which is the optimal choice for traveling on loose and rock debris surfaces.

Within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Forum, the professionals of TATNEFT Company will take part in international scientific and practical conferences. The Tatar Exploration Company, which is part of TATNEFT, will act as the organizer of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modeling the geological structure development processes is the basis for the successful development of oil and gas deposits", with the TGRU (Tatar Exploration Company) experts presenting reports at the conferences "Modeling the geological structure and development processes is the basis for successful development of oil and gas deposits" and "Topical issues of geodesy and geoinformation systems".

Experts of the Company will deliver a report "Probabilistic and statistical assessment of reserves and resources with application of the "Uncertainty_Analysis" module of the Roxar RMS software package at the Roundtable chaired by R.Kh. Muslimov.

In addition, the forum events will include poster presentations by R&D TatNIPIneft Institute experts, such as: "Selection of a 3D geometrization grid for a geological model and comparison of the reservoir distribution methods in carbonate deposits" and "Application of the rapid stock assessment method based on regressional dependencies data at PJSC TATNEFT fields”
