Press release: Ford Sollers Delegation Visited the TANECO Complex
Representatives of Ford Sollers visited the TATNEFT’s JSC TANECO Oil Refining Complex.
The delegation included factory managers from Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga ("Alabuga" special economic zone), representatives of sections dealing with industrial safety, labor and the environment protection. This was a return visit of Ford Sollers Company to the enterprises of the TATNEFT Group. The purpose of the visit was to exchange experience in the field of industrial safety, labor and the environment protection.
Within the program of the meeting, the representatives of Ford Sollers got acquainted with the activities of the JSC TANECO’s Industrial Safety Department, aimed at the safe and secure operation of existing production facilities. There is a modern system created at the Complex, including organizational, technical, educational, as well as information activities, carried out to prevent and avoid emergencies. The system is improved on a year-to-year basis through the introduction of new software products. An electronic queuing system has been created for the convenience of employees in receiving personal protective equipment. They have implemented an automated information system "Production Control of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection" at TANECO to provide for registration of the production control results. The system implementation has been realized within the framework of a global corporate project embracing the entire TATNEFT Group, providing for the online interconnection of service, and operating organizations.
For the purposes of ensuring an objective and comprehensive assessment of the safety level, they started to apply a methodology for the automated calculation of the occupational safety factor (OSF) at JSC TANECO in 2015. The OSF is a composite condition indicator of labor protection, industrial, environmental, fire and gas security in the Company's divisions, contributing to the increase of interest and personal responsibility of all levels employees in the compliance with labor and safety requirements.
There was also a tour organized for the guests around the territory of the Nizhnekamsk Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. They started the tour with visiting the fire and salvage unit No. 92, located on the territory of the enterprise and being one of the most modern fire and salvage units in Russia. The Ford Sollers delegation inspected a number of production facilities and environmental facilities of the TANECO Complex, such as flare facilities, treatment facilities; in the central operator's office the visitors got acquainted with the history of the Project's development, as well as with the yielded high-quality products of the Complex, which include more than 20 commodity items.
There was a meeting organized at the end of the visit, at which the Ford Sollers employees could ask questions of interest to them and share their experience in the area of industrial safety and labor protection.
