Press release: Nizhnekamskneftekhim was honored with Grand Prix Diploma of International Exhibition "Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century"

Nizhnekamskneftekhim participated, as a partner, in the 16-th International Energy Forum and exhibition "Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century", which was held in Moscow on April 12th and 13th, supported by Council of Federation and the State Duma of Russia.

This is the largest forum to discuss strategic issues in an industry fosters, its perspectives, and search for optimal solutions to respond to existing challenges. All-Russian meetings on issues of integrated development of the internal gas market and implementation of the Federal Law "On Heat Supply" were held here through active involvement of Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s representatives.

It’s the 14th "Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia in the 21st Century" Forum attended by petrochemists. This year, Nizhnekamskneftekhim presented its exposition on the energy saving program for Years 2000 - 2017. During these years, the Company put into practice 1293 energy saving arrangements with the economic effect totaling 4.6 billion rubles. Today the Company is implementing the fourth energy saving program.

Company’s exhibition stand informatively demonstrated the results of significant energy saving measures: construction of two pyrolysis furnaces at the ethylene plant, modernization of isoprene production unit, return of condensate from Nizhnekamskneftekhim's production facilities to Nizhnekamsk CHP-1 and reconstruction of biological treatment facilities.

Achievements of the Company in the field of energy saving have been highly praised. Based on the results of participation in the XVI Moscow International Energy Forum "Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the 21st Century", Nizhnekamskneftekhim was awarded the Grand Prix diploma "For modernization of ethylene production aimed to reduce consumption of fuel and energy resources and harmful impact on the environment." The company was also awarded diplomas "For return of steam condensate from the technological facilities of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim to JSC "TGC-16" and "For the development and implementation of a comprehensive energy conservation program in a 2016-2020 year period among enterprises of the RF petrochemical complex."
