Press release: Tatar Geological Exploration Management of TATNEFT Celibates the Jubilee Anniversary

The Tatar Geological Exploration Management (TGRU), which is a structural division of TATNEFT Company, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the establishment and the 80th foundation anniversary of the Geological Directorate of the Tatar Autonomous Socialist Republic (TASSR), which TGRU is a legal successor of. 

Ceremonial events dedicated to the significant days were attended by Rais Khisamov, Deputy General Director - Chief Geologist of PJSC TATNEFT, Renat Muslimov, Adviser to President of the Republic of Tatarstan on the development of oil and gas fields, Academician, Professor of the Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Danis Nurgaliyev Vice-Rector for scientific activities of the Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Mikhail Leonov and Maxim Sa’akyan, Deputies of General Director of the State Reserves Commission (FBU "SRC"), Renat Mukhametshin, Deputy Department Head for the Volga Federal District, as well as Radik Gaynetdinov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Tatar Geological Exploration Management (TGRU), which is a structural division of TATNEFT Company, performs a wide range of geological exploration activities to ensure stable and efficient operations of oil and gas production divisions, subsidiaries of the TATNEFT Group of Companies and third-party customers. The activity areas of TGRU mutually complement each other and allow successful solving of complex problems both in the field of traditional exploration and oil prospecting and in the field of local survey works.

Within the framework of the jubilee events, there is a scientific and practical conference "Innovative exploration technologies are the basis of the TGRU of PJSC TATNEFT operation" held. Participants of the conference will discuss issues related to geodynamic monitoring at the Ashalchinskoye high-viscosity oil field with the use of leveling and satellite observations"; up-to-date geophysical and geochemical methods of survey; application of geoinformation systems in the practice of geological exploration for oil; prospects for the development of HVO deposits in the territory of PJSC TATNEFT's operations using mine oil production methods, etc.
