Press release: Nizhnekamskneftekhim is among the winners of the contest “Engineer of Year 2017”

Three engineers of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, namely Ajdar Gazetdinov (Deputy Head of Technical & Production Department, IIR Plant), Guzel Gilaeva (Head of Waste Waters Laboratory, R&D) & Yuri Petrov (Head of Automatization Centre Department) were awarded with Winners Diplomas & Commemorative Medals among the participants of the 18th Russian Contest “Engineer of Year 2017” within the nomination “Professional Engineers”. They were also appraised with certificates awarding the title of Professional Engineer of Russia & corresponding award pins.     

The similar certificates & award pins were presented to the winners of the 1st contest tour, namely to: Aleksey Alekseev (senior foreman, Rail-Way Transport Division), Vladimir Basov (Deputy Head of Butane Production Shop), Stanislav Volkov (Deputy Head of Oligomers & Glycols Production Shop), Ruslan Gubajdullin (Head of Ethylene Production Shop), Ivan Gurianov (Deputy Head of Technical& Production Department, Plastics Manufacturing), Tatiana Derugina (Chief Quality Engineer of Technical Control Division), Ramil Mukhametzianov (Chief Process Engineer of Synthetic Rubbers Production Plant), Valeriy Sarsadskih (Deputy Chief Engineer of Butadiene & Hydrocarbon Feedstock Production Plant), Ilias Sibgatullin (Head of  Styrene & Polyesters Production Shop), Ildar Sulejmanov (Deputy Head of Oligomers & Glycols Production Plant), Natalia Turina (Quality Engineer of the Technical Division), Linar Shakirov (Deputy Head of Isoprene Production Shop). 

Ajrat Batyrshin (Polyolefin Laboratory Engineer, R&D) was acknowledged as a prize winner among younger engineers being awarded with appropriate Diploma & Commemorative. He was also presented with certificate & award pin.     

Sergey Tachenkov (Leading Quality Engineer, IIR-Plant) was awarded with Diploma being a winner of the first tour of “Engineer of Year” in the nomination “Engineer Skill of the Young”.        

“Engineer of Year” is a Russian contest which has been annually held since 2000. It is aimed to draw attention to such challenge faced by modern Russia as lack of highly professional engineers, to make this industrial job more popular & todays engineers more skillful, to reveal the best in engineering art, as well as public awareness of the achievements of the best native specialists working in the field of industry, education & science.

The contest is organized by Russian Union of Scientific & Engineering Public Entities in co-operation with other collaborating institutions.
