TATNEFT Company is taking part in the XIXth international specialized exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving" and the XVIIIth International Symposium "Energy Resource Efficiency and Energy Saving", held in Kazan at the pavilions of the “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” Exhibition Center.
The official opening of the event was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic, Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan, heads of the sectoral ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, leading experts and peofessionals of energy, industry, housing and communal services, agencies and centers for energy conservation and resource efficiency, scientists and practitioners.
Following the results of the Republican Review Contest of the Energy-Efficient Equipment and Technologies held within the framework of the international exhibition, TATNEFT was awarded the First Degree Diploma in the nomination "Energy-efficient products" for a pumping unit for lifting the well products without tubing; the IInd Degree Diploma in the nomination "Energy efficient technologies and equipment" for the application of heat insulation cylinders PIPEWOOL-Zn for the thermal insulation of 377 mm main steam pipelines; the IInd Degree Diploma in the nomination "Renewable Energy" for providing power supply to pressure sensors and solar panel powered cathodic protection stations.
TATNEFT was awarded the winner's diploma in the nomination "Best Press Service" of the contest among the media and press services of enterprises on the coverage and promotion of energy conservation and energy efficiency issues.
TATNEFT presented an exposition on the results of implementing the energy saving program and the application of energy-efficient technologies and equipment in the Company at the exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving”. TATNEFT Company attaches great importance to various methods of modeling the processes occurring in the reservoir. Based on the results, specific geological and technical measures are selected. Thereupon, modern technologies and well construction designs play an important role. The consistent introduction of the modern oil recovery enhancement methods (EOR) provides for the Company 8.7 million tonnes of annual additional crude oil production. The application of EOR over the past ten years accounts for more than 63 million tonnes of crude oil production.
