Press release: GC «Titan» projects are in the list of the best Siberian «Locomotives of growth»

On 6 March, Irkutsk hosted an industrial forum "Locomotives of Growth: Spatial Development", initiated by the all-Russian political party "United Russia". Projects implemented in the Siberian Federal District, including those which are implemented at the sites of GC "Titan", were presented to the Secretary of the General Council of the party AndreyTurchak and coordinator of the federal party project "Locomotives of growth" Denis Kravchenko.

Members of the Public Council of the regional party project "Locomotives of growth" presented investment projects of the enterprises of GC "Titan" at the strategic session of the forum "Industrial breakthrough - development plants".

The first project is a production complex, which is currently being created by GC "Titan" within the frameworks of the petrochemical industrial cluster of Omsk region. The new complex is aimed at expansion of raw hydrocarbons refining depth on the basis of resource-saving technologies and at output of import-substituting products of organic synthesis.

"The project investment volume is about 33 billion rubles. Its implementation will increase a raw material supply of strategically important sectors of the Russian economy, reduce dependence on imports and, most importantly, enable Siberia to become a producer of strategically important products for the country,"the members of the Public Council emphasized during the presentation. 

The second project of the company is a production complex of agro-biotechnological industrial cluster of Omsk region.

After the reports, an experts chose the project-leaders which were presented at the forum plenary meeting. 

Summarizing the result, Titan's projects were included in 9 of the bestprojectsof the Siberian Federal District and were nominated by the forum "Locomotives of Growth" from the Siberian Federal District for further consideration by the Federal Expert Council which will include representatives of the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly, all-Russian Political Party"United Russia", the scientific community, federal executive bodies and other structures.

At the meeting of the Expert Council, which will be held in early April 2018, the best projects of all federal districts of Russia will be considered and concrete measures of state support for their implementation in the regions will be determined. 

In total, about 70 projects were presented at the forum, their discussion was held within the framework of 7 strategic sections, attended by more than 300 people from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk regions, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions of the Siberian Federal District. 

The forum was attended by Andrey Turchak – the Secretary of the General Council of the party "United Russia", deputy of State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly, Denis Kravchenko – the coordinator of the federal party project "Locomotives of growth",Victor Zubarev – the head of the Interregional Coordinating Council of the party "United Russia" for the Siberian Federal District, and also representatives of federal and regional executive and legislative bodies, expert communities, industrial enterprises, scientific, educational and innovation sectors. Omsk region was represented by members of the regional public council of the project, including Dmitry Perminov – the deputy of State Duma of the RF Federal Assembly, representatives of industrial enterprises and regional branch of the party "United Russia", as well as heads of specialized cluster organizations. 

"Locomotives of growth" is the project of party "United Russia", aimed at identifying innovative regional projects to provide real measures of state support. The coordinator of the project in Omsk Region is Mikhail Sutyaginskiy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC GC "Titan".
