Press release: Employees’ Conference of the PJSC TATNEFT’s Tire Manufacturing Enterprises

The Conference of labor collectives the PJSC TATNEFT’s tire manufacturing business, which summarized the results of operations for 2017 and fulfillment of the enterprises’ Collective Agreements as well as outlined tasks for 2018 was held.

The annual event was attended by Denis Valeyev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Nurutdinov, Deputy Mayor of Nizhnekamsk City, Gumar Yarullin, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of PJSC TATNEFT, and Gyuzel Khabutdinova, Acting Director of OOO "Tatneft-Neftechim" Management Company (OOO "UK Tatneft-Neftekhim").

A report on the outcome of the Tire Manufacturing Business Operations in 2017 was presented by Alexei Sorokozherdyev, First Deputy Director of OOO "UK Tatneft-Neftekhim" for production and sales. During the reporting period, the company sold over 13 million tires, while the carbon black volume sold amounted to 134 thousand tonnes. With the investment support of TATNEFT Company they started the expansion of the SSC tires production; major repairs were carried out at the premises of the the mechanical plant and the truck tire factory; large-scale reconstruction works were performed on the preparatory shop at PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" were completed. The work is underway to increase the production of high-performance Viatti tires.

In the reporting year, TATNEFT tires once again won the annual contest "100 best goods of Russia". There were new awards added to the collecting box of the Company, such as the 1st degree diploma in the nomination "Energy-efficient technologies and equipment" for the compressor station equipment’s upgrading of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" of the International Specialized Exhibition "Power. Resource Saving”. The Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory was awarded the diploma "For achieving significant results in the area of quality" in the nomination "Production systems" within the framework of the XIIIth Republican contest for the Tatarstan Government Award, and tire business employees were recognized as the "Best Quality Managers". The "Kama" Trading House took the second place in the nomination "Dynamically developing exporter" in the All-Russian contest "Exporter of the Year". In addition, the SSC Tire Factory was awarded the third degree diploma of the republican contest "Best Exhibit. The best project or the best technical solution" in the nomination "Products with new improved characteristics".

The main tasks of the tire business for 2018, inter alia, include the implementation of production and economic indicators, increasing labor productivity, output of high-quality products, costs optimization, prevention of injuries and accidents at work places, and strengthening of the public and industrial discipline.

Information on the results of the Kama Trading House activities and strategic tasks for the sale of tire products was presented to the participants of the conference by Ilya Gorbachev, Acting Director of the enterprise. Mikhail Dyrdonov, Chairman of the Young Specialists Council of JSC "Nizhnekamsk Mechanical Plant", presented to the audience the project of the "Young Specialists Cluster" technical society aimed at the intellectual development of the young professionals and their stimulation for the introduction of improvements at the enterprise.

The report on the implementation results by the enterprises’ Collective Agreements for 2017 and changes introduce to the draft agreements of 2018 was made by Mikhail Kuznetsov, Acting Trade Union Committee Chairman of the OPPO OOO "UK Tatneft-Neftekhim". He pointed out that all obligations stipulated in the Collective Agreement of the reporting period were fully implemented. 78 workers engaged in the tire business celebrated housewarming parties, 226 non-working pensioners improved their health in sanatoriums and health improving facilities, more than a thousand children of the tire manufacturing workers spent their summer vacations in the children's health camp "Chaika", and more than 4 thousand employees and their families, as, well as 286 pensioners had a rest at the company’s recreation centers during the autumn-winter period.

The high estimation of the tire manufacturing enterprises the performances was emphasized in the speeches of Denis Valeyev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Gumar Yarullin, Trade Union Committee Chairman of PJSC TATNEFT.

Gyuzel Khabutdinova, Acting Director of OOO UK Tatneft-Neftekhim, thanked the companies' collectives for their work, wished health and well-being to the workers and their families.

The Conference unanimously elected Mikhail Kuznetsov as Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the OPPO “MC Tatneft-Neftekhim”. Previously he served as Assistant Director and Trade Union Chairman of JSC "Nizhnekamsktehuglerod".

Best workers of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" received the Thanks of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for many years of fruitful work and contribution to the development of the petrochemical industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
