Press release: Representatives of TATNEFT Are again among the "Managers of the Year of Tatarstan

Management representatives of TATNEFT Company again became laureates of the "Manager of the Year - 2017 contest".

The winners awarding ceremony of the Republican Annual Public Contest was held in Kazan with participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Alexei Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Also within the framework of the event there was presentation of the eighth volume of the Book of benefactors and letters of appreciation of the Republican Foundation for the History and Culture Monuments Revival of the Republic of Tatarstan to the managers, who rendered significant support to the project of reviving the historical and cultural heritage in 2017. Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC TATNEFT was among the awardees.

Rustam Khalimov, TATNEFT Company’s Deputy General Director for fiIelds Development and Production of Oil and Gas,  was named the "Manager of the Year" contest’s winner in the nomination "For High Competitiveness"; Mikhail Shvetsov, Director of the Bugulma Mechanical Plant, was awarded a laureate title in the nomination "For achievements in innovation"; while Rifkhat Sakhabutdinov, Director of TatNIPIneft, was awarded the same in the nomination "For the implementation of research, development and design works".

In 2017, there were 123 heads of enterprises and organizations of various industries and sectors of the economy claiming for the title of the contest laureate, who, together with their teams, in 2017 provided a high level of the company's performance in general and specifically distinguished themselves in the areas of activities envisaged by the contest nominations. The "Manager of the Year" Republican Annual Public Contest was established following the proposal of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan of February 26. 2002 No. UP-121 "On the Republican Public Competition "Head of the Year ".

The Republican "Manager of the Year" contest covers nominations range, which list has been developed and approved taking into account the most relevant areas of socio-economic development of the Republic,  determined by the annual Message of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the State Council and Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Republican "Manager of the Year" contest covers nominations range, which list has been developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the "Tatarstan. Heads of the XXI century" Fund and approved by the Chairman of the Tender Committee (Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan).

In 2017, the winning managers were selected in the following categories: "For High Competitiveness", "For Investment Activity", "For Achievements in Innovation", "For High Social Responsibility", "For Active Development of Personnel Potential", "For implementation of research, experimental and design and design works", "For successful management of small (medium) business", "For the formation of safe and healthy working conditions", "For the establishment of a new production works”.
