Moscow. 26 December 2017. The Chairman of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA), Rakesh Kapur, has awarded PhosAgro Group's CEO Andrey Guryev a certificate recognizing the company’s compliance with the IFA standards at the Cherepovets production site (JSC "Apatit") of mineral fertilizers.

The certification audit was conducted by SGS, the world leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, to meet the "Protect and Sustain" requirements of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA) which were introduced in 2010 in order to help IFA member companies to ensure high standards of quality, safety and reliability through the introduction of industry best practices and technologies.

Andrey Guryev said: “This certificate is the result of well-coordinated work of the whole PhosAgro team. It is the result of constant work to improve the quality of our products. It also serves as motivation for further development, to ensure that our high-quality environmentally friendly products remain competitive in Russia and the CIS, as well as in the markets of 100 different countries around the world."

Successful IFA certification is a proof of product safety, both during production as well as for the final customer. It speaks volumes about the advantages of working with clients and observing safety measures, occupational safety standards and environmental standards for proper product transportation and storage.
