Press release (Tatneft): Figures Demonstrating Results of Operations during September and Nine Months of 2017

Enterprises of the TATNEFT Croup of Companies produced 21,664.9 thousand tonnes of crude during nine, which was 555 thousand tonnes more than the figure for the similar period of the previous year (102.6 percent).

The PJSC TATNEFT’s production amounted 21,399.9 thousand tonnes (+ 549 thousand tonnes; 102.6 percent).

The Company’s subsidiaries produced 265.0 thousand tonnes (+ 6.0 thousand tonnes; 102.3 per cent.

The hi-viscosity oil production amounted to 1,162.2 thousand tonnes (+620.4 thousand tonnes versus 2016; 214.5 per cent).

New Drilling

554 new wells were built and delivered to customers during nine Months  of 2017, which was 17 percent more than the number for a similar period in 2016 (including production drilling – 540  wells, exploratory wells 7 wells, drilling to the bitumen – 7 wells

Active Well Stock Drilling

There were 68 sidetracks and horizontal wellbores delivered during nine Months  in 2017.

Drilling of wells for OOO “Tatneft-Samara” in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Republic of Kalmykia

Testing operations are underway at well No. 1 at the Barrieryaya Area in the Republic of Kalmykyia.

Drilling of well No. 18 was completed in the Ulyanovsk region. The work is underway to perform the completed well testing.

The operations are in progress on drilling the exploratory well No.130r. Well testing is in progress. Drilling of exploratory well No. 342r has been completed:  testing operations are underway. Sidetracking operations are performed at well No. 91bs to drill the lateral.

Repair of Wells

During nine Months of 2017, the remedial well servicing crews performed remedial servicing operations in 8,240 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT), while workover operations were performed in 2,020 wells (990 wells in September).

There were 46 wells repaired for OOO “Tatneft-Samara” and 5 wells for OOO “Tatneft-Severny” outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 641 wells (58 wells in September).

Oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 2,194 wells), including chemical methods applied in 1,027 wells.

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 787.6  thousand tonnes of raw materials in September 2017 and 6321,3 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year, including 711,9  thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock processed in September and 5,664.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year.

The TANECO Complex yielded 746.5 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in July 2017 and 5,955.2 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
