The 5th Russian Congress of Plastics Converters was held in the small conference hall of the Moscow City Government building on November 14–15. The forum brought together about 250 delegates and reporters. The Congress was organised by the Moscow City Government, the Russian Association of Plastics Converters, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and RCC Group.

Heads of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan insist on Russian route for NGL pipeline from Western Siberia
On the eve of the Bolshaya Khimiya international chemical industry forum, which is being held in Ufa from the 26th to 28th May 2011, presidents of the two largest Russian petrochemical regions proposed an initiative to substantially amend “the RF Petrochemical Industry Development Plan for the Period to 2030” designed by the Energy Ministry of Russia. The heads of Russia’s Tatarstan and Bashkortostan republics demand that the RF government select an alternative and non-export-oriented route when building a new pipeline to transport surplus volumes of natural gas liquids from Western Siberia. >>

The 8th Moscow International Chemical Summit will take place at the Moscow World Trade Centre on the 17th and 18th March 2011.
